Eunice Onwona, Executive Producer
Eunice Onwona is a senior at Emerson College, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Print & Multimedia Journalism. She is also minoring in Publishing. She was an Associate Producer for the first season of the show and thoroughly enjoyed the job. Onwona is from Accra, Ghana. The young multimedia journalist hopes to someday establish herself as a media mogul back home and across the continent of Africa. She is inspired by media giants such as Mo Abudu, Anas Aremeyaw Anas and the late Komla Dumor. Onwona would like her career to reflect the same integrity, growth and essence that her role models have shown forth.
Tashanea Whitlow, Executive Producer
As one of the executive producers, Tashanea’s responsible for the daily operation and show flow of “Every Woman Has a Story.” From researching and booking guests, to making sure every taping is seamless. She plays a vital role and contributes the show’s success to a great crew.

Tashanea majors in journalism and is pursuing a career as an on air Broadcast Journalist. She loves all aspects of broadcast and works at New England Cable News part time as a freelance technical operator, but her true passion is in front of the camera. Tashanea works as a spokesperson and corporate training actress for several companies throughout New England, including Dunkin Donuts and Skillsoft. Recently, she made Top 5 for Rhode Island’s WPRI FOX 12 annual “Search for A Star” co-host search, competing against over 100 people. There she produced several segments for the station, which aired live and received great reviews. She has hosted multiple events for Home for Little Wanderers, MSPCC, among many. In her free time she enjoys spending it with her 84-year-old grandfather, who she credits as being hilarious.“He always finds a way of adding humor to any situation…he’s my rock!”
Briana Azar, Associate Producer
Briana Azar and is a blue eyed island girl from Trinidad and Tobago. She loves dogs, walking through the city and socializing with friends, traveling, exercising and enjoying all of the abundant blessings life has to offer. She believes working on Every Woman Has A Story has been a gift! She works with amazing people that all share a wise and fulfilling vision and every show is an opportunity to learn and grow from one another. As one of the co-associate producers, Briana strives to be the best and most present person she can be throughout my time on Every Woman Has A Story and she cannot wait for season 2 to kickoff!

Bridget Nolan, Associate Producer
Bridget Nolan is a freshman Journalism major with an interest in broadcast news. She enjoys keeping up with fashion news and following the Boston Bruins. Outside of class and working on the show, she usually likes to read memoirs and spend time in her favorite spots in the city, such as the North End. Bridget hopes to learn more about writing and telling people’s stories while she attends Emerson College.
Terrena Scannell, Director
Terrena Scannell is a junior Broadcast Journalism major at Emerson College. Her greatest aspiration is to become a prominent woman talk show host, basically the next Oprah. She loves to make people laugh, because laughing cleanses the soul. Her favorite color is blue and her favorite food is chocolate chip waffles. Terrena also enjoys going on afternoon constitutionals through the city.
Muna Salah Moushien, Freelance Host
Born and raised in Napa Valley California, Muna moved to New York City at the age of 14. In 2010, she was accepted into Emerson College to study Broadcast Journalism. Since embarking upon her journey at Emerson Muna has been the News Correspondent for Goodmorning Emerson, the music host for Emerson Channel’s Orientation Series Backyard Boston, anchored for WEBN International News and JChannel Weekly Updates. In addition, she is a sister of a professional women’s network on campus otherwise known as Kappa Gamma Chi. Last year Muna became a resident assistant in the residence halls to give back to a school she has gained so much from. In 2013, she lead her first press conference with Will Ferrell in promotion of his new film Anchorman 2 and she reported at the Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. This year not only will she be graduating from Emerson College after four years with her Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism but she will also be reporting live on the red carpet at the 86th Academy Awards.
Cindy Severino, Production Assistant
Cindy is a young Dominican woman, who enjoys traveling and exploring new places as well as trying food from different countries. She enjoys writing, filming and editing videos. After finish her bachelors degree in journalism she wants to work in a Spanish-television network as a broadcast journalist. Helping others is one of her passions and is currently working on a project to give school supplies to low-income families in the Dominican Republic.
Laura Onyeneho, Production Assistant
Laura Onyeneho is a first-year graduate student in Broadcast Journalism at Emerson College in Boston, MA. She is a native of Lowell, MA and graduated Cum Laude from Curry College with a B.A in Politics and History and Minor in Communication.
Laura is no stranger to the camera as she has worked as a TV Production intern for Boston Neighborhood Network, as well as co-producing a television segment on youth voters’ participation.
She is an AmeriCorps New American Integration Program alumna, and has worked alongside reputable community organizations like English for New Bostonians to create an ESOL Distance Learning video piece focusing on the importance of building a capacity of adult ESOL teachers to integrate technology in their curriculum. Laura was also a photographer and writer for English for New Bostonians English Works Campaign, highlighting local businesses in support of workplace ESOL.
She hopes to use journalism as a platform to spotlight the experiences of undeserved communities both in the United States and abroad, and has developed multicultural sensitivity due to her extensive travels both in Europe and Africa. She hopes to focus in on her interests in human rights issues and visual storytelling.
Laura is a freelance Master of Ceremonies and runway model in the Boston area.
During her spare time she contributes her efforts to hosting local charity events such as the Children’s Education Alliance, a non-profit organization that help underprivileged children in Africa achieve academic success through scholarship and sponsorship opportunities, the African Festival Boston, as well as a performer and logistics member of the Lowell Health Care Center’s Dance for Peace talent show on anti-violence education and prevention.
Laura is now a co-host and staff member for Every Woman Has A Story on Emerson’s WEBN, and works for Harvard University’s Department of Athletics as a Multimedia and Production team member.

Deirdre Murray, Secretary
Deirdre Murray is a freshman studying journalism at Emerson College. Although she is from Minnesota, she enjoys living in Boston very much. Since moving to Boston, she has become a Red Sox superfan and a Dunkin’ addict. She developed her interest in journalism working for her high schools news shows, the 4Cast and the Flash. She enjoys reading articles featured in Salon, The Atlantic and Time. Her dream job would be getting paid to travel and write about women’s stories around the world.
Casey Campbell, New Media Manager
Casey is a sophomore at Emerson College, studying journalism. As New Media Manager for Every Woman Has a Story, she handles the website and all social media for the show. She also writes for Atlas Magazine and the Berkeley Beacon. While in school at Emerson, she is eager to learn all platforms of journalism, from broadcast to multimedia. After graduation, Casey hopes to travel, telling stories of people all over the world. Additionally, she loves curling up with a good book, going for long drives while blasting the radio, and being an avid Red Sox fan.
